A holiday within a holiday

With just over a week remaining of the big adventure, I was torn between being properly knackered and needing a good rest, and having a massive playground of Colorado to go explore!!

So I tried to cram it all in. A quick visit to arty Santa Fe, where the air smells of green chilli. Catching up with old friends in Boulder. Exploring funky rock formations round Colorado Springs and getting up to new heights in Rocky Mountain National Park.
