The blog is alive again

We decided pretty early on that 2016 was going to be the year of adventure and with a bit of negotiation and long term planning, I was lucky enough to get confirmation of three months unpaid leave from the Uni in the summer, to allow me to go have adventures. At the same time, Neil plotted his own work, life and adventure balance and all of a sudden it was really happening. We had bought a campervan and it was ready for Neil to pick up in Seattle in May. Everything else started to fall into place (with some frantic organisation at times) and though I’m not sure when I have the time to write it, it seems like a good idea to resuscitate the blog.
