Cairngorms weekend

Lovely ride on Saturday round Rothiemurchus / Loch Morlich and back along the (lovely downhill all the way) cycle track from Glenmore lodge to Aviemore. The heather is still really colourful out there and it somehow managed to snow and be sunny at the same time. Didn't really see many other people for most of the time, just some deer and rabbits. Tempted to go up to have a look in Glen Einich next time as it looks like the path is cyclable a long way before some walking or climbing. Glen Feshie is also on my list. Managed to get home before the 'hurricane' force winds and everyone else managed a good day of climbing.

Almost like christmas again, we woke up to snow on sunday morning. So, not wanting a repeat of my 'Laggan in the snow' adventures (mainly due to fear of unchicken-wired north shore), we came home early, braving the snowy A9 and went indoor climbing at Ibrox - feeling a bit wimpy after all my injuries recently!!!
